What is “VEGANISM” ?

Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation and cruelty to animals for food, clothing, accessories or any other purpose.   In my opinion vegan living should be embraced in our society, and it is not that much difficult. There are many ways to embrace “vegan living”. Yet one thing in all vegans have in common is a plant based diet, avoiding all animals food as meat, fish, shell, insects, eggs. You will soon find a new world of exciting foods and flavors opening up to you. A vegan diet is richly diverse and comprises all kinds of fruits vegetables, nuts, grains seeds beans and pulses, all of which can be prepared in endless combination that will ensure you’re never bored. From curry to cake, pastries to pizza, all our favorite things can be suitable for vegan diet, if they are made with plant based ingredients. It is not just about diet, Vegans avoid exploiting animals or any purpose.  With compassion being a key reason we should choose a vegan life style from accessories, Clothing to make up and bathroom items. Fortunately now days there are affordable and easily sourced alternatives to just about everything. With over thousands of products and services are registered with our Vegan trade mark.  Another aspect of vegan living-medicine, the vegan society does not recommend you avoid medicine prescribed to you by your family doctor. What we can do is ask our family physician or pharmacist to provide us the medicine that does not contains animal product such as gelatin or lactose etc. We should not even use animals for entertainment in any form and so avoid visiting zoo, aquariums, taking part in dog’s or horse racing. A great alternative is visiting and supporting animal sanctuaries. There are hundreds of thousands of Vegans across the globe with you. We are that much stronger.
